Growing up in inner city Chicago, Il. I was always surrounded by music. My pops put me on to Bob Marley, Curtis Mayfield, Miles Daves. At family reunion after parties my aunt would play the most sultry r&b slow jams that filled the room like cigarette smoke and the aroma of malt liquor. Sunday morning school buses filled with cassettes tapes blasted blues at the flea market down the street. Subways were flooded with soulful live jazz. My brother spun house music in peoples houses. The church taught me how to make goose bumps and poor out my soul on the stage and yoMTV raps bleed into my elementary school cafeteria where we beatboxed and drummed next to lunch trays. All of this shaped my ear and my sound. As the seasunz change, so do I. I represent the rainbow spectrum of sound and influences.
