ACTIVISM

I have worked at non-profit organizations such as Ella Baker for Human Rights, Green For All, Alliance For Climate Education, and Soul Shoppe. Additionally, I eventually created my own food justice organization, Urban Farmacy, to create green careers for youth in the sustainable food sector.  I created my own business SoS Juice, which offers organic juice, smoothies, elixirs, and tonics to improve health, promote sustainable agriculture, and create green jobs. Teaching Climate Justice, Race, and Art Activism at San Francisco State University taught me the importance of utilizing art and education to inspire transformation.

As a chief strategist with Hip Hop is Green, Earth Amplified helped generate the global strategy to create chapters creating Hip Hop Green Dinners and local programs promoting the 10th element of Hip Hop (plant based diets, food justice, sobriety, animal rights, urban agriculture, fitness)

What do Sos Juice, Lyft Rapper, and Hip Hop is Green all have in common? They all are platforms that use storytelling and multimedia. For example, Food Fight was used as the central tool in an a campaign designed to inspire, educate, and activate people to connect the dots between food, environment, and health.

Recently, I have been excited and honored to offer my creativity to the health freedom movement.
